How to cancel JDate
A quick, up-to-date guide to cancelling JDate — and keeping proof that you did, in case you're charged anyway.
Cancel JDate in 5 steps
- Cancel where you subscribed — most JDate subscriptions are billed through the app store.
- iPhone: Settings → your name → 'Subscriptions' → 'JDate' → 'Cancel Subscription'.
- Android: Play Store → profile → 'Payments & subscriptions' → 'Subscriptions' → JDate → 'Cancel'.
- If you subscribed on the web, sign in and cancel in your account/settings.
- Cancel before your renewal date and confirm.
What happens after you cancel
You keep JDate's paid features until the end of the current billing period, then revert to the free version. Deleting the app does NOT cancel billing — cancel where you subscribed. No refund for the current period is typical.
Subscribed through Apple, Google, or another provider?
Most JDate subscriptions are billed via the Apple App Store or Google Play — cancel in that store's Subscriptions section, not just by deleting the app.
